His hospital serves as a place for industrial attachment to our students. He is a member of the Christian Veterinary Missions; a group which presented stethoscopes, projector, books amounting $1000 (one thousand U.S dollars) after the school was attacked by thieves. The group also brought visitors from the United States who gave public lectures.
Professor Walter Renberg, a visiting Professor from the Kansas State University and an expert in International Veterinary studies, Animal Orthopaedic Surgery, also advised the students to take advantage of this innovation and forge ahead to becoming successful in the profession. He as well urged the students to inculcate the habit of learning beyond the classroom materials and not to only focus on acquiring the degree. This he added is what makes you a Professional.
Pro Vice Chancellor, Professor Samuel Nii Odai showed gratitude and responded that, the university will not always be at the receiving end of these initiatives but then, will also contribute their quota in making the beneficiaries proud. He concluded that, this gesture should trigger individuals to move from being successful to rather being significant in impacting other people’s life and that of the country as a whole.
